In March of 2010 I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. My Friends and Family came together and started a Fan Club Page on Facebook and the prayers started pouring in. As a sole proprieter, I had no sick pay or paid time off,so a Fundraiser was organized.
I had Surgery April 27th. Part of the Colon which had the mass was removed and it was resected. I also had a hysterectomy at the same time to later on avoid any cancers that may pop up there. I was scheduled to start Chemotherapy shortly after the surgery and thats when I received the Miracle. My surgeon told me that my cancer was contained and I would not need any other treatment! I was so happy.
Knowing that I could not afford any more time off from my job and that I was going to be sick for a long time,I was thrilled that my Cancer was gone. Why was I so LUCKY? Because God knows that I help so many other people and he loves me! I am so blessed to have so many wonderful Friends and Family Members who prayed for me and prayed for me. Those prayers were heard and I am now back to work part-time. The fundraiser helped me to cover my expenses while I was out of work and everything turned out wonderful for me! Thank You God!
